As December arrives we are celebrating the closing out of 2025 with our oldest yet release of Shortcross Irish Whiskey.
Collaborating with the team from Stitch & Weave we are proud to reveal our first official Shortcross Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.
This 8 year old Shortcross Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey was double distilled in October 2017 from a mash bill of 2/3 malted barley and 1/3 unmalted barley. It was then aged in a first fill ex Jack Daniels cask for 8 years and one month.
As with all our Shortcross Irish Whiskey & spirits this was whiskey was distilled, matured and bottled at our home at Rademon Estate Distillery in Co. Down.
Showcasing the rich and full flavoured nature of Pot Still Irish whiskey, it is bursting with vibrant orchard fruits. This rich full-bodied Pot Still Irish whiskey delivers notes of honeyed malt and milk chocolate, and a long mouth coating finish of sweet spice and dried fruit. Rich and decadent from start to finish.
